Pixel Class Reflections Vegas
We made it to the western makeover! Just an english rider in a western world :) Pixel has been undersaddle since February of this year.
62 riders showed up and made it to the competition. An accomplishment for everyone! It was the first of this kind of show, so they are working the kinks out still but they are off to a great start. Brief class reflections for Ranch Riding, Reining, Trail, Compulsory, and Freestyle! I didn't go too in-depth but if there's anything else you'd like to know, comment below :)
Unfortunately I had to mute my freestyle because of copyright reasons. I will post the freestyle video again as an individual video so you can listen to the music!
Cool thing about this format... no journey video yet for Pixel. We still have a ways to go together!
Results:
Ranch Riding- 22/62 (without ties 14th.. 7.5pts behind 1st!)
Reining- 23/62 (talk about consistency! 22nd without ties)
Trail- 2/62 (tied for 1st!)
Finals- 8th overall

Prepping for Vegas - Almost Showtime!

Last leg of the trip before Vegas! Lots of clinic and prep work of course... Pixel is starting to get tired from the travel. You won't want to miss the next video, it will be less 'vlog' style, and more analysis and review of the Vegas mustang show! It should be a pretty cool video, so stay tuned for that! Next leg of the rip finished up in New England... Interesting start to clinic season... a tornado in Maryland that almost went directly through the farm they were at! We just got back to the house from feeding and alerts were going off like crazy on my phone and computer. Question for you guys! Can you notice when I film with my phone camera vs my actual camera? I want to make sure the quality is still great so if you can notice a big difference, I'll be sure to start using my big camera again to film! Back on the road again. I intended to film more of the packing up... but honestly it gets so crazy that I just don't have any time so you see a few snippets here ...

Pixel's first horse show! And Roo's... and Izzy's first at a show too. Lynx and I haven't shown in a few years either so it was a busy weekend. I had so much fun with these horses! Little update to show a typical day! My evening activities got shifted around but I'm happy I fit the rest in! The day after I filmed this, 3 more horses got added to the routine (yearlings for in-hand) and then 2 more days later, another mustang (not mine)! The dressage world could learn from the mustang riders. Notice D ring snaffle bit and dressage moves. Notice Pixel is not over collected. Excellent job.
